Little by little, Google is slowly piecing together a more cohesive and complete mobile OS. Having the right hardware to drive Android doesn't hurt either. While the Nexus 7 isn't quite what I expected Google to roll out last week at I/O given the Motorola Mobility acquisition, it's arguably the first real Android tablet to date. With a $200 starting price, Android users and those looking for a smaller tablet now have a legitimate alternative to the Kindle Fire.Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Techcrunch/~3/ckfGRosxHqQ/

Remember the S Health application that Samsung told us about back in May? Well, today sees it official launch so if you fancy keeping track of how your body is doing under the pressures of life you may want to check it out. You will of course need a Samsung device as the application can be found within Samsung's more services.
The application will allow users to enter information such as diet, exercise, medication etc, so keeping track of how your body is doing couldn't be easier.
In addition it will also integrate with other healthcare sensors via Bluetooth such as blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors and body composition scales. Clever stuff.

A jailbreak of iOS 4.3.1 is now possible with both PwnageTool on Mac, and Sn0wbreeze on Windows. RedmondPie -- who else? -- has some handy guides that you can follow for all iOS 4.3.1 devices on Windows, for iPhone 4 on OS X, iPad 1 on OS X, iPhone 3GS on OS X, and iPod touch 4G and 3G on OS X. All iOS 4.3.1 jailbreaks are still tethered, meaning you'll have to jailbreak your device after every reboot. An untethered jailbreak is slated for release sometime in the next week -- but 4.3 was meant to have an untether, too, and that never emerged. Maybe Apple's updated security mechanisms will finally keep hackers at bay!Jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 on OS X or Windows with PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze originally appeared on Download Squad on Mon, 28 Mar 2011 06:30:00 EST.
